We had our very first annual Turkey Challenge Team Up, with dinner at the Whitetail Tavern.  

Roy Allen (disabled), Trevor VanAuken (hand amputee), Jimmy Crumb and Mark Spratt (both Paraplegics), John Nelson (visually impaired), Tony Marino and Steve Freund (single leg amputees); all shared great experiences that day.  

Tony Marino was the only one successful of harvesting a Turkey.  

In September we introduced Pheasant and Chucker Partridge hunting into the program.  

We went Whitetail Deer hunting at several locations.  

In spite of not many deer being taken, Steve Freund got a nice 11 point buck, while Jimmy Crumb had the privilege of harvesting a nice 8 point buck with Frank Santorelli’s hunting group. 

Every year we see our list of activities and participants growing.    All of these events are made possible through the generosity of our sponsors, donators, and volunteers.
